Grünenthal's Research and Development Centre in Aachen

Our R&D Centre is located at Headquarters in Aachen (Germany). Round about 650 employees are working here in the R&D area (incl. Preclinical R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety and other support units). R&D work is mainly focused on chemical, preclinical and clinical science and operations in the field of analgesics.

Grünenthal’s R&D expenditures add up to 23% of company sales.
